Job Search Strategy Session (90-min)

A senior job search is a project, and most people run it without a plan. They update the résumé, send a round of applications, tell a few people they're looking, and wait to see what happens. Sometimes that works. Often it produces a long quiet stretch and no clear idea why.

This session works wherever you are in your search.

If you're just getting started, we help you set the search up properly from day one. That means a clear target, a credible story, materials that do their job, and a plan for where your opportunities will actually come from. A few hours of thinking now saves months of drift later.

If you're already searching and it's stalling, we work out why. From the inside it's almost impossible to tell whether the problem is your target, your materials, your story or your approach to the market. We look at your search the way a recruiter or hiring executive would, find where it's breaking down, and decide what to change first.

If you have a specific question, such as whether your résumé is pitched at the right level, why your LinkedIn profile isn't attracting the right attention, or how to explain a career change or a gap, we focus the session on that and give you a direct, expert answer.

Our approach comes from the hiring side of the table. Ian Christie, our founder, ran more than 200 executive searches before building The Bold Career Project, and our team has guided more than 3,000 career moves since. We know what a strong senior candidacy looks like from where the decisions get made.
