Resume & Cover Letter Writing Services
Time to get noticed.
Once upon a time, there really wasn't much to writing a workable, professional resume. Those days are gone.
Your resume, CV and personal bio represent your professional self. Your resume should capture the essence of who you are professionally. Your resume should set you up for your next position, rather than where you’ve been.
These are definitely a very important 1-3 pages. But, there's more.
When it comes to job search and career transition, the goal of your resume is to get you the interview. However, if you think that your resume is getting carefully read and an informed decision is being made after a careful reading, you are wrong.
- Your resume might pass through screening and tracking software and never make it into the hands of your intended target.
- Then, did you know that when an actual human being sees your resume, they make their first decision in about 10 seconds or so. That's right. A 10-second screen.
- If you pass through that gate, then, the resume gets a more careful read.
And, there is more pressure.
You resume needs to be readable. In order to pass that 10-second gate and then the more detailed read, requires that the hiring executive, manager, HR person or recruiter wants to read your resume. How readable is your resume?
Yes indeed, it is a bit complicated. And let's face it. There is a lot riding on the effectiveness of your documents. That's why we feel so strongly about the importance of a professionally-written resume.
We'd like to help.
